2018 is almost here and the AXIS staff and I wanted to take this opportunity to update everyone on program and facility upgrades that are already underway.
Since opening our doors in 2010, we have experienced tremendous growth and joy working with clients like you. Thank you for trusting us with your health and fitness needs.
It has been our honor to serve you and we look forward to providing many more years of great service.
ADDITIONS TO OUR TEAM
In 2017, we introduced two full-time exercise physiologists. I am excited to place coaches who have proven themselves to be the glue that holds our community together. I have no doubt that they will continue to help AXIS maintain its legendary status.
Kat Stepp also joined our team as director of operations and is really the magic that keeps the AXIS train full steam ahead.
This past year, we introduced integrated and progressive programming in our small group training program (SGT).
Starting in 2018, AXIS will launch a recovery lounge where current members will get complimentary access ($97 monthly value). This includes compression therapy sessions, Transdermal Electrode Neuromuscular Stimulation (TENS) therapy and cold laser treatments so you can recover like a pro after your workout.
Thompson Physical Therapy also joined our team in November and is currently accepting new patients. As an added benefit, you can get direct access to quality physical therapy with no prescription required.
MORE EFFICIENT FITNESS PROGRAMMING
All great coaches constantly evaluate their programming and their client’s success.
In 2017, we partnered with one of the top programming companies (Trainerize) in the US to share and evolve our programming. As a result, private clients have access to their training program via a mobile app and can track every workout to include progressions and personal records. Client’s now see the full layout of their monthly programs and can communicate daily with their coach via the app for strict accountability.
Additionally, we added heart rate monitoring into our programming to educate clients on both proper training intensities and recovery.
Small Group Training Schedule
You spoke and we listened.
In 2017, we introduced additional lunch time small group training sessions to accommodate our client’s busy schedules.
In the Spring, we have plans to bring in specialists for hands on workshops to keep you fit, lean and void of injuries.
To ensure everyone has the opportunity to make tangible progress, your coach has set aside time each week to meet with you to ensure that your goals are being set and achieved.
In 2018, we will also be introducing new body scanning/imaging technology that will allow us to further identify your visceral fat level changes, to include inflammation status. Included is a detailed printed report that you can take to your doctor to brag about your results.
In 2018 we have plans to roll out new equipment that will further support your fitness journey. We saw some great equipment upgrades in 2017 (pull up bars, Air Bike, slam balls) but this year you will see even more upgrades that will have you smiling like a kid in a candy store.
